I was contacted by an HR person for an initial screening a few days after I applied online. She was very nice, but it didn't really feel like she was listening that closely to what was being said. She asked about each of my work experiences and told me about the job and what the department was looking for. She asked about my salary requirements and mentioned I was at the top end of what they pay for the role. I knew I would be weeded out after that information.
