      Entretien

      The first three rounds were pretty easy. A lot of the questions are repetitive. The round where they ask you to do a Case Study sounds pretty unfair. I personally don't believe that's a way to test someone's talent or skills as you don't know about the product or company much. However, people were really nice and I enjoyed the overall process.

      I applied for a role in marketing with ADI, as I recognized them from their local developments. I was contacted by HR twice, once via email and once on LinkedIn. I requested to speak with HR on the phone and they were very curious about my skills and what I could offer to the company. HR asked that the next step in the process be to complete a cognitive/scored test before having an interview, citing that this was what upper management had requested of all employees. In my opinion, any test like that has zero impact on my ability to do the role. The questions are not related to the role and are really a "dog and pony show" of "are you smart enough?" That's a "no" for me, and also highlighted problematic thinking when it comes to hiring and upper management. Looking for a job in 2022 I see companies allowing for considerations for accessibility even through the interview process, and this was not the case for ADI. It set off some red flags, that were later confirmed by reading the reviews here on Glassdoor.
