I must say this is one of the worst interview process I've ever seen. The whole process is insulting as one person has already mentioned. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone in search of sustainable life. They bring in over 200 candidates into a small office for an interview. Out of those 200 or so people, they are looking to only hire 3 or 4 people. How ridiculous is that? They literally waste nearly 200 individual's time and money. People travel from as far as New York and Phoenix for this opportunity. This company could narrow their search down to under 10, but would rather waste people time. Not to mention, the salary is sub par. During the interview, the guy interviewing the large group literally said "If you're willing to accept less, you have a better a chance." I couldn't believe he said that. I hardly believe they select based off of the test. I believe they take those who are willing to work for as low as 25K a year. For anyone with a family, this is not for you. This position is more for someone who probably just graduated college. They tell you that you will continue to increase in pay, but even in three years of working there, you'd still be under the national avg for a network engineer. In three years you could have done so much to put yourself in a better position. Contrary to what they will tell you, there are plenty of employers that offers an entry level position at better salary so don't believe the hype. Soon after the interview, two days later, I was offered a 24+ months contract as a network specialist with a company making over $37 an hour. That's with very little experience,,,,I mean very little!! I just with my A+, Security, Network, and CCNA exams and remaining dedicated. Perhaps this company is really a great company to work for. The interview alone was not for me. This post isn't to deter you from going for the interview, it's written to provide you with the truth of what you're going up against.

      Question 1

I didn't stay for the exam, but my buddy said there was a bunch of questions on command prompts. VoIP, and some of the stuff they asked you to study.

Thanks for your feedback. The position is a true entry level position requiring ZERO years of experience. Thus, the ability to narrow down all of the resumes we received for the position to just a few select candidates would be close to impossible. We narrow candidates down for the first round based solely on test scores - nothing else. The comment regarding compensation is to set realistic expectations regarding entry level salaries. You also cannot compare entry level salaries to that of a contract where there are no benefits, no tax coverage, no assistance paying for additional certifications, etc. Our engineers are paid well above the national average with many crossing into six figures with full benefits, certifications/training paid for, bonuses and more. We are sorry the entry level position was not for you however we encourage those looking to apply to talk to people who actually go through the entire process versus leaving before the interviews even begin.
