Hello Student Advisor Interview Candidate, it was unfortunate that we were not a fit for each other in the employment process relationship. The discussion regarding wage rate was explained in detail when communications were in progress. It was explained that the wage is publicly posted in our job advertisements and to be fair to our existing employees, we do not compensate outside candidates at a higher rate, especially when the request is significantly above an entry level opportunity. It is standard employment practice to have candidates provide references before moving to the next step of issuing a contract. The request for a police record check is also a standard practice when applying to work in an educational setting. You were advised that if you did not have an existing police clearance check the Company would initiate obtaining one, at no cost to you. Upon receipt of your message declining our offer there was nothing further to discuss. May you have success in your future endeavors.
