      The interview process was very straight forward. They got to know me as a person, and made sure I understood the nature of the role and what my job duties would be. They didn’t ask conventional questions or use the, “Tell me about a time” interview trope. They ask unconventional questions like, “What’s your favorite food?”, and, “What would your last meal be?” I would highly recommend relaxing as much as possible and being yourself while remaining professional.

      Was initially contacted via text message by a third party recruiter telling me to download a secure messenger app then add a specific HR Contact to schedule an interview. When I did so I was told by the alleged HR contact that they would be conducting the interview immediately on spot via chat which I found weird but I figured maybe it was just a screening prior to an official scheduled interview so I proceeded. I was not told how long it would approximately take and the contact just automatically assumed I had time. This early miscommunication bothered me since it was a bad impression on the company early. Basic screening questions were typical but I was asked for my mailing address and if I banked with two specific banking institutions and too much emphasis was put on that considering no official decision was made at that time. I began to get uncomfortable And now believe this company is a scam collecting information to commit identity theft. I declined their eventual offer after being left on hold and asked repeated questions about banking which were suspicious and immediately reported them to the fbi fraud department. I requested they call me directly to verify themselves and they never would call me directly only through wire secure messenger (red flag scam) I called through the app and two African accents picked up. This is a scam. Report this company and the third party contact recruiter. Do not give up any personal information and report your experience to your local fbi internet fraud contact online or by phone.

We'd like to clarify that the interview process you described does not align with our company's standard practices at Accretive Technology Group (ATG). I see that you are located in Johns Creek, GA, however, our headquarters are based in Seattle, WA, and we only hire Customer Service Representatives to work onsite at our Seattle location. We do not have any connection with the third-party recruiter or process you mentioned. It seems there may have been some confusion with another organization using a similar name. We take issues related to identity theft and fraudulent behavior very seriously. We appreciate your vigilance in protecting your personal information.       Was contacted by a third party recruiter and had a phone interview scheduled for the following Monday. The recruiter, however, didn't send me enough background information to properly research what kind of websites these company specialized in - it was described verbally, which I was okay with. But the question came up if I had seen the site personally and when I said I had not, I think that negatively affected the overall process. The first phone interview was an hour and a half late past the mutually agreed upon time. Disorganized and unprofessional in that sense, but still, it was friendly and conversational, though. The tone kind of shifted when she found out I hadn't reviewed the site material despite me not being provided with enough information to begin with. After a followup a couple days later in which I had time to review the site, they decided not to move forward with no explanation or feedback as to why.
