My interview process was five stages. The first stage was an initial phone screen and interview by AP's Talent & Corp. Dev. Coordinator. She was incredibly friendly and asked thoughtful, intelligent questions. After our interview, she informed me that she'd be in touch regarding whether or not I had made it to the second step of the interview process. She emailed me a day or so later informing me that I had.
The second interview was conducted by a Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager. This interview was also conducted over the phone and was pleasant and informative. She showed genuine interest in me, my background, and was very forthcoming with what they were looking for in someone to fill this position.
After the second interview, I was contacted again by AP's Talent & Corp. Dev. Coordinator that I had advanced to the next step in the interview process, which was a homework assignment. She emailed me detailed instructions for what I needed to do to complete the assignment, which I did and returned back to her via email.
She contacted me again a few days later that the next step in the process was for me to have a third interview with their Director of Affiliate Marketing. This interview was conducted via Skype and was also incredibly productive and insightful. I was asked a series of pertinent and thought-provoking questions and was also given the opportunity to ask questions as well.
Since the position splits time between Affiliate and the in-house Marketing team, I had a fourth and final interview with the Director of Marketing about a week after my third interview. This too was a productive discussion and provided more clarity into what the position would entail.
After the four interviews and the homework assignment, I was contacted by the person who would be my direct supervisor and offered the position.
