Process takes time average14-21 days from completion of online application and this deters majority of "quality candidates". About 8 days before I got a phone call to clarify I was still interested and to set up Phone interview ~two days later, then in person with Mgr ~2 days later, Then in person with Store Director later same day. Gathered my background and extent of experience. Were looking for a person who could come in and shake things up to get the Department on a positive track. The greatest challenge is that they staff most of their store with Part time employees who have no real vested interest in "how the Job gets done". They are only there 10 to 20 hrs a week and it is more than the majority of "young people" are willing to put in to keep the job so there is a large revolving door effect.
