Reflecting on the interview process, one interviewer's comment about not expecting to have a family life due to the extensive nights and weekends required reaffirmed my decision not to apply to Abbott Laboratories, Austin TX again. Additionally, there was a significant discrepancy in the posted salary range of $72,700 to $145,300. During my initial call with the recruiter, he informed me, unprompted, that the actual range was $105,000 to $115,000. While the other interviewers were friendly, professional, and easy to speak with, the recruiter's behavior ultimately marred the entire experience.
