Interview process took over 3 months. I understand large companies have many other things on their plate, but I did not understand how it took over 3 months to hear an answer.

Entretien
I applied online after a referral from an acquaintance. Next day got phone call from the hiring manager….who was my boss at a different company three years ago. They knew me well enough and said I would be out through to in person interviews without earlier rounds.
Two weeks later, flown for panel interview with hiring manager, their boss, person who used to have this role and the District Sales Leader. Told there were three other people being interviewed that day, including an internal candidate.
Made an offer three days after interview.
