First Interview Includes: Department Manager Interview & Logical Reasoning Test Interview Panel: A total of three interviewers: • One Senior UX Designer • One Department Manager • One Senior Executive (title not remembered; camera was not turned on) Interview Structure: 1. Brief self-introduction – 5 minutes 2. Presentation of one portfolio project & Q&A – 40 minutes 3. Introduction to the role and team – 10 minutes The interviewers mainly asked detailed questions based on the candidate’s portfolio, such as challenges encountered during user recruitment and interviews, design decision-making, etc. This section involved extensive questioning and took up most of the time, so thorough preparation is recommended. Finally, after approximately one hour of departmental interviews, HR asked the candidate to complete a visual/logical reasoning test. The questions were not difficult and focused on inferring reasonable visual concepts based on given prompts.
