The recruitment process consisted of 5 rounds spread over approximately 2 months. It started with an initial HR screening call with the Talent Acquisition team to discuss the role, salary expectations, availability and visa requirements. This was followed by a technical interview with the Senior Lead (Team member based in Morocco) focusing on Technical questions. The third round was a strategic leadership interview with the Hiring Manager based in Europe, covering vision, organizational transformation, vendor management, and culture. The fourth round was an operational fit conversation with the local Head of IT at the Tangier's terminal (Internal client) - very relaxed and collegial. The fifth and final round was with the HR Business Partner and the Head of the Tangier Business Center, focusing on personal values, cultural fit, motivations, and compensation.
Each interviewer had a clear and distinct angle — technical, strategic, operational, and cultural - which made the conversations feel purposeful rather than repetitive. All interviewers gave positive verbal feedback throughout the process.
Unfortunately, after completing all 5 rounds and receiving consistently encouraging signals, the process ended in complete silence. Despite multiple professional follow-ups via email, SMS, and phone attempts to the Talent Acquisition team, no final response was ever received — no offer, no rejection, no update. The application portal remained stuck on "Interview" status without any change. This lack of closure after such a lengthy and intensive process is disappointing and reflects poorly on the candidate experience, regardless of the final hiring decision.
