I interviewed for this position and there seemed to be mutual interest. After the interview, I was given a lengthy assignment, which I completed within 24 hours. At the time of the interview, I was told I would hear back in less than a week. Despite following up, the company ghosted me for a month, until I finally received an automated rejection email. If a company interviews you and you complete an assignment from them, the least they could do is keep you in the loop instead of ghosting.
