J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez AMS-PAR (Houston, TX)

      Entretien

I traveled from out of town (and was not reimbursed for the trip). I was led to believe I would be meeting with two people, and upon arriving I was informed I would be meeting with 4 people, all back-to-back. It was exhausting and could’ve been done much more efficiently. One of the Partners told me that the position would require less than 20% travel; however, when I brought this up to the other three people I met with they looked at me like I was crazy and said it would definitely be much more. The company is very small and I was told point-blank that they follow the oil industry cycle and get rid of people when the industry isn’t doing well. So much for job stability. And it seemed like they expected you to put in a lot of long hours. The company is alot of 50-60 year olds and the benefits are geared toward what’s good for them. No health insurance offered for family members, no vision insurance. Vacation/PTO is bare minimum. No desire to help staff acquire or maintain professional certifications..unless you can get CPE from some kind of free training source or via the LinkedIn training subscription they give you. This company is a joke and have altered their business model several times...they penny-pinch whenever they can..like holding the company Christmas party in January to save money on a venue. You know the Partners have deep pockets and could hold a nice party for their small staff..but no.
