J'ai passé un entretien chez ALS Global (Edison, NJ)
Entretien
Interview went well one on one, and actually thought I had a chance, till they gave me a 'compatibility' test and I walked out. It was lengthy and very stressful. I don't understand how companies can base their decision to hire on a sterile series of questions and answers.

I was contacted by phone for a quick screening, and an invitation for a face to face interview with the same person I talked to on the phone. Interview was pretty informal, hiring manager shared more about the company history, current situation, position details and expectations. After that, I was invited back for a face to face interview with the managers the position would be supporting, the interview was with each manager separately. Each manager shared their leadership styles, expectations and went over my resume asking questions. After that I was invited back for a face to face interview with the CEO. That was quick and informal as the CEO just wanted to get a sense for who the candidate was, and ask a couple of questions and talked a bit more about the company. Due to the traveling schedule of the managers involved the process lasted 1 month. Most people were very nice and friendly, and my experience during the process was mostly positive, that changed once an offer was made. The offer was a joke, they basically wanted someone with a degree, many years of experience to support 3-4 executives, but pay at the level of a fresh out of college grad. The benefits package was extremely poor.
