I was invited to a group interview where we walked around the store and toured the backroom where products are loaded and stocked. This was followed by an individual interview with the store manager.

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez ALDI (Plainfield, IL) en juil. 2016

The process started with dropping an application and resume off at one of their many hiring events. Next if you pass that, you have a first interview with the district manager. If that goes well, you may get called back for a second interview. Then if you pass that, you meet with a store manager. Finally after making it through all of that, they may offer you the job or not. It was a rather lengthy process, HOWEVER, based on the work conditions and the personality types to be successful, I can see why they are maybe a bit tougher and longer than others.
