Usually just direct take home assignment and followed by live modifications to the assignment.
In my case I told them I was more a focused backend developer and they considered me for full stack role and I did a take home assignment and then again they asked me to make changes to it and then again after a week they asked me to do another take home assignment and even though I hesitate I did that as well and they gave comment like the UI/UX is not up to mark they compared the UI/ux with greenhouse and asked me to make it as it is and in the instructions it's no where mentioned about the UI/UX and they are too much even when the basic functions are working they are expecting top level ui/ux I got another offer so I dropped off altogether as it gave me a feeling of free work
The interview went well; it was a friendly and insightful discussion about the role and expectations. The interviewer clearly explained the requirements, and the overall feedback was positive and encouraging.
