I was interviewed by on of the owners of the company who was conversational and put me at ease during the process. It was a simple, straightforward conversation about my experience in teaching and working with children as well as logistics.

Very straightforward and streamlined process. When you submit your application, the owner calls you in a short amount of time for an impromptu phone interview and asks simple questions; it only took 10 minutes for me. Once this is done, you do an in-person interview that takes 30 minutes at most, and is mostly just related to team fit and expectations. After this, you schedule assessments for the subjects you want to teach and are not expected to know everything, as they pair you with a senior mentor to fill in those gaps. It's a solid part time gig and everyone there is friendly.
The interview process involved talking to one of the team leads/organizations heads about your previous experiences that could benefit your teaching ability. Overall, it was not a technical interview but a characteristic one.
