I've been asked for a group interview.
I didn't realize what a group interview was, I thought it's going to like panel interview, however after logging in to zoom there were 10 other candidates with me. It's very awkward to see other candidates, all placed in one room competing with each other, answering very strange questins . One girl got asked " how freaky do you think you are " or what's the last book you've read, I'm sorry , how is this relevant to accounting and how do you answer how freaky you are ? Albert Einstein and Nicola Tesla were pretty freaky and yet they were geniuses! Waste of my time, humiliating way of interview conducting practices.
I doubt they even looked at individual resumes , to me , it felt like they invited all people who applied. And the owner was not even present during the interview, just some current employees. Very strange experience and I'm sorry I had to waste my time . They while interview process took about 2 weeks with one way video submission and then group interview. They're just plain lazy, If you don't take your time to talk to candidates face to face, then don't expect people to jump through the hoops to be considered in a group interview. One person during the group interview even started to cry, hey, I didn't know that's how you get ahead of the others, by crying? That's very sick.
