J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez AIR Worldwide (Boston, MA) en juil. 2020
Entretien
Four (4) - 45-minute interview sessions. Talked to 3 developers for 45 minutes each independently and the department software director for 45 minutes. The job described was very different from what was listed in the job description. The job listed was for a .NET /Angular 9/ SQL Server developer for the cyber security risk management team. In addition, the Angular web front end still ends up making calls to the legacy C++ library. The software director was looking for someone with a good knowledge of AWS data platform and AWS tools to analyze data using the following which included the use of 1. Amazon EMR 2. Hadoop and 3. Column store databases.
The developers each had their own Q and A session. There was a lot of technical screening questions which seemed to have very little in common with the job they were trying to hire for and more to do with fishing. The developers at times were asking the same technical questions so there was a lot of repetitiveness or questions on very dated technologies.
The software director said that they will be interviewing candidates over the next couple to few weeks. It makes one wonder if this was a real position or not.
Questions d'entretien [4]
Question 1
All three developers and the directory asked the same question: What is the difference between an abstract class and an interface?
