      Candidature

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez ADF International en oct. 2025

      Entretien

Appreciated that the interview process was fairly transparent and adhered to what was outlined on their website. It is a really long process: after the first HR call (30 min), I was given a 90-minute design assignment. Then I had a call with the team lead (60 min), followed by the final round of panel interviews (4 hours or 240 min). That's a total of 420 minutes, or 7 hours, or 4 movies averaging 105 min. The final interview was in the office and consisted of 4 back-to-back interviews without scheduled breaks. I am told this is regular practice. Is this really necessary? To me, this sounds like you are setting a candidate up for failure. I was also a little disappointed that I had come down to the office only to have to face a screen for 3 Zoom interviews. I also found it strange that they hadn't asked me about my design assignment. Every designer knows the design critique is crucial and quite possibly the determining factor for any organisation hiring a designer. Just putting this out there for anyone who might find this information useful. iykyk. They'll call you in a week to inform you of the outcome, and they'll ask for contacts of 3 referees. I found the call to be a nice touch as they also try to be transparent with you and provide some feedback. I suspected something was off when I found myself waiting an extra day. So +24 hours of anxiety. Know what you're in for. So after this lengthy and arduous process, I was told they had decided to go with someone with "more technical skills". To that I roll my eyes and declare: could you not have looked at my CV and decided? How about the design I did for you? Or my design portfolio? It was quite a shame as the people I met seemed genuinely lovely.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

How would you communicate with another colleague you disagreed with (or something to that end – I had to sit through 4 interviews so they all sort of blurred into one another)
