I recently attended an interview with this organization and found the overall process to be unnecessarily strict and poorly coordinated, which negatively impacted my performance. The interview required an unusual setup involving both laptop and mobile device simultaneously, with the mobile camera pointed toward the laptop screen. While I understand the intent may be to ensure transparency, the execution was highly disruptive and created significant discomfort throughout the interview. Instead of focusing on technical evaluation, a large part of the time was spent adjusting camera angles, audio issues, and following repeated instructions for setup. This broke the flow of the interview and made it very difficult to concentrate on the technical discussion. In my view, such a setup adds unnecessary pressure on candidates and takes attention away from actual skill assessment. A more stable and straightforward interview process would lead to a much better evaluation experience for both candidates and interviewers. I hope the organization reconsiders such practices and moves towards a more candidate-friendly and efficient interview format while still maintaining integrity.
