After two (mostly general introductiory) conversations with one of the HR managers on the phone, I was invited to a personal interview at ABB's office in Budapest. There, I met the HR manager and my soon-to-be supervisor, and had a discussion about my academic/professional background and the future roles/tasks at the company. Unfortunately, it turned out that we were not seeking each other as per that specific internship, but the whole athmosphere was positive and friendly and they assured me that I am very welcomed to apply for other future openings, should them be closer to my academic experience and mutual expectations.
