I was frankly appalled by my experience going through the hiring process at ABA-ROLI. After applying online, I went through several rounds of interviews (phone screen, panel with programming staff). In all of the conversations, I confirmed with the interviewers that the position had telework flexibility because I live in another state.
After checking my references, I was offered the position. However, at this point a senior HR rep stepped in. I can only describe her as extremely unprofessional and rude. She belittled my experience during the salary negotiations, often joined calls 7+ minutes late, and gave an overall negative impression of ABA-ROLI. Ultimately, I turned down the offer because their final salary offer was 15K lower than the position I eventually accepted at another organization and because she insisted that I would have to move to D.C.
Truly, an off-putting experience. A prestigious organization like ABA-ROLI might do well to consider whether it wants to be represented by such a disagreeable person.

One phone screening, followed by a second interview.
It was basic questioning about who I am and my professional experience. Lots of opportunity to ask about their program and how it catered to my interests.

The interview started with 3 panelists. The lead interviewer was very rude and kept challenging me with disproportionate questions regarding my qualification. The other interviewer were nice. It seems that the lead interviewer did not like me and was force to conduct the interview with me.
