I interviewed twice with AAMC, in October 2023 and May 2024. The first time they rejected me after four rounds for an internal candidate and offered me a job in their call center, when I specifically said throughout the process that I was looking to move on from call center work and would not consider such a position. The process went well otherwise, so things happen, and they remained a target employer for me.
I reapplied six months later and again went through four stages of interviews only for the recruiter to never get back to me until I followed up with her. When I asked for feedback on why I wasn’t selected, she ghosted me. I think if you put someone through multiple interview rounds for the second time and still don’t hire them, you owe them some kind of feedback if asked. It makes me wonder who they’re looking for to fill these positions, as even “internal candidates” came from outside the company at some point.
