Everything was done by phone and e-mail. The questions were easy; they mostly wanted to make sure I was qualified. They arranged for me to stay (free) at a nearby hotel for the first 3 months of my employment. The hotel was great, but the neighborhood was awful. The job was on a (nearly abandoned) nearby military base. Labs in Afghanistan were closing up so there wasn't much work. I was bored to death.
