However, despite following up and requesting feedback, I never received any response—even a negative one. Candidates already face significant anxiety in their job search; the least you can do is show respect for the time and effort they invest. Clear communication, even if the news isn’t positive, is a basic courtesy that goes a long way in maintaining professionalism and trust.
