It was okay. Felt like they already had in mind exactly what they wanted out of me before I arrived to interview down to hourly pay and area I'd be working in. Of course they lowballed me really bad and we all knew right there it wasn't gonna go easy after that. I passed every test they gave me and proved myself but this place works with cheap aluminum parts 70% of the time so there's no high end markup on their product so they just couldn't afford me I guess? Spent 30 minutes trying to hammer out a plan to get me at just a matched hourly wage at previous job with the owners and it all sounded like it could work but I guess they thought about it and decided they just can't afford me. Oh well. So it's most likely a stepping stone company. There you go. Get your feet wet, learn some stuff, learn to work extremely fast cutting aluminum and then give yourself a raise by moving on after you do your first 5 years in the trade at this place. Great for beginners and maybe a few 2 or 3 year guys but that's about it from what I saw.

Be honest about your skill set. H.R. manager was very easy to talk to and floor lead was straight forward with questions about what is a drill, endmill, blueprint reading and measurements
