I answered an e-mail that was sent out to me regarding my resume that was sent to them through career builder. I was a little skeptical at first but the receptionist who I spoke with was very friendly so I decided to come in and try it out. The office was clean, there was some good music on and there was a really good energy with the other candidates in the lobby. I was invited back for another interview the following day. I got to see what the DirecTV marketing strategy was all about. Unlike other traditional forms of outsourced marketing, they were actually set up in a retail location. I was relieved to see that they didn't do any type of cold calling door to door or business to business. The guy that I "shadowed" was very helpful on answering all of my questions.
