J'ai postulé en personne. J'ai passé un entretien chez 3YOURMIND en mars 2018

      Entretien

It all started when I met a person from their HR department at a career fair who urged me to apply for an internship there, which I did. After applying, they set up a skype call in which they asked me quickly some very basic questions (eg: What's the difference between an HTTP POST and an HTTP GET request). After passing all these questions they told me that I passed everything perfectly and that the last phase of the interview would be a programming assignment (a.k.a. homework). I had an exam the following day so I asked them to allow me to start working on it after the exam, therefore handing it to them later. They answered my request by heavily pressuring me to start working on the assignement immediately, telling me that they value fast delivery a lot and that handing it out later would be heavily penalized. The assignment, which was UNPAID, consisted of implementing a missing feature in their Blender add-on, that is, develop their product for free. They just sent me the source code of the add-on and a general explanation of the feature I had to implement. I started working on it right away (due to the pressure mentioned earlier) and, as I found that several parts of the feature description that they sent me were incomplete (eg: they didn't use standard terminology for some terms, they didn't specify how should the UI look like...), I sent them a few emails through the day asking them for a clarifications, emails which were answered in under 5 minutes. But, when I finally finished the assignment and sent them the updated source code, I was ghosted. That is, they did not reply to my email nor several others that I sent days later. Given that all the previous emails were replied to instantaneously I can't help but wonder why did they suddenly stop all communication right when I delivered what they asked for. Please note that they didn't even have the decency to tell me that they had rejected me, they simply never sent me an email nor replied to any of mine after I sent them the code. Overall, I feel like I was tricked into working for them for free and heavily pressured into doing it during a time when I should have been studying. I reject immensely taking this interview.
