The interview process began with an initial scientific screen conducted over phone or Zoom, during which we discussed my background and the specifics of the role. This was followed by a technical screen that included both coding and statistical questions to assess analytical and programming proficiency. Subsequently, I participated in four separate interviews with team members, which provided insight into the team’s structure and collaborative environment. The process also included a 45-minute presentation where I discussed a previous project in detail, highlighting my scientific approach, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities

Question 1
The technical screen included a coding challenge that involved writing a script to generate the first n elements of the Fibonacci sequence, as well as solving a classic two-sum problem: given an array of integers and a target value, return the indices of the two numbers that add up to the target, with the constraint that each input has exactly one solution and elements cannot be reused. In addition to the coding tasks, the interview included statistical questions, specifically on mixed-effects models and Bayes’ theorem, to assess both applied programming skills and foundational statistical knowledge.

I applied online and heard back from them after two weeks. Then I had a phone interview with one of the project manager, who's a really nice person. We basically just went over the resume and he asked about one of the project I have done.
