I got a call from the HR department within half hour of applying online. They set up a phone screening round for the next day. The phone screening round covered a lot of iOS technical questions related to Swift, Objective-C and iOS, to get a general idea of the skill level. After that, I got an email with a technical assignment to create a simple Movies application while giving more attention to the architecture and practices. It took at least 10 hours over a week to complete the assignment. After the code submission I was called for the next set of personal interviews at their office in Gurgaon. I reached there in the afternoon, and was taken through three rounds of gruelling interviews with members of the iOS team at various levels. These interviews lasted 4 hours late into the evening. I was asked to leave before meeting any person with a managerial role. There was no reply even after a week. Finally after following up, I got a response saying they were not going ahead with my candidacy. I asked for feedback but there was no reply whatsoever.
