I was reached out to by the recruiter that I am on the shortlist of candidates. She sent me an assignment which consisted of writing a 1000-word paper or doing a video. I decided to do the paper which went to 5 pages. Took a lot of hours doing the paper. I sent the recruiter the finished 5-page paper I was told that they would be going to the next steps. Later the recruiter told me that they would have to reschedule the next round interview after 3 weeks due to the manager planning a big event. I followed up after the 3 weeks and was told by the recruiter that I would have a response in a couple of days. Never received a response.
