I had a call with some members of the Software Embedded team last year and had a great experience with the 10x interview process. In the end, I decided not to pursue 10x Genomics as I realized I wanted to work in a very early stage startup; I also had an offer from Amazon which I turned down. The 10x Software embedded team came across as technically strong, friendly, and was very patient with my many questions regarding 10x Genomics vision and opportunity. I also had a great call with their Vice President of Software who spent a great deal of time coaching and educating me about startups and giving me invaluable career advice.
