Overview of the position

As a Software Developer in our multimedia production company, you shall be working inside the R&D team for the development of new features of our award-winning simulation system.

You are responsible for the software implementation of new user interfaces, dashboards and other elements of our multimedia training environment both server side and client side.

Main Job Tasks

• Developing new software applications in partnership with business analysts and technical architects
• Working closely with analysts, designers and staff to presenti ideas for system improvements
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Preparation of training manuals for users
Maintaining the systems once they are up and running

You will need to have:

• minimum 2 years of experience in Server side coding: Microsoft Visual studio .NET minimum 2, VB.NET (http://vb.net/), asp.net (http://asp.net/), C# and AJAX;
• minimum 2 years of experience in Client side coding: HTML5, Jquery, Javascript and AJAX;
• minimum 2 years of experience in SQL and storeProcedure creation in Microsoft SQL Server environment;
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluent in Italian and english language;
• the ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone;
• “scalability” mindset to turn any special-purpose request of the client into a suitable win-win solution in terms of production perspective
• persistence, enthusiasm, motivation and a proactive manner;
• the ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure;
• initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense and problem-solving skills;
the ability to prioritise and cope with last-minute changes while under pressure.

This area of work is open to all graduates. No specific qualifications are required but the industry is competitive and many Software Developers do have degrees.

This position shall have headquarter at the company's office in CHIASSO (Switzerland) but will also be ready to travel and work from client's and partners' premises on a mission-based schedule.

This position shall report to the Dev Team Leader.

Compensation will reflect the candidate experience.

This is a mid-senior experience and full time position.
