Avantages

The employees at iClassPro are high-quality people, almost universally kind and genuine. The culture is generally positive. The work is meaningful, with thousands of direct clients and millions of their clients generating a lot more positive feedback than negative. The company is still young and there is a real sense of growth and opportunities for advancement. On top of base pay, there is monthly profit sharing and a Christmas bonus. Benefits are alright.

Inconvénients

Unless in a rare circumstance you are hired to work fully remote, there are no work-from-home opportunities, regardless of your role, and regardless of whether that is written policy. Remote work isn't something the upper leadership believe in, logical justification is not given for this, and mentioning it gets your hand slapped. Lack of transparency leads to general mistrust. When employees aren't properly equipped, they are shut down and controlled instead. Pay isn't competitive, even with the profit sharing.

Avantages

The company has so many great benefits for their employees and goes out of their way to take care of their employees. Aside from the benefits it's easy to get a start in the world of tech with iClassPro since I've met people there who started in customer support and moved there way to other roles within the company.

Inconvénients

The only con I can think of would be that it's harder for you to be able to work from home in certain departments compared to others.

Avantages

Pros: The CEO is great — always smiling, friendly to everyone, and comes in early. The Thanksgiving events are excellent, and they even hand out cash rewards at the holidays. Health insurance is outstanding, there’s zero hassle about using your PTO, and communication with HR is very fast. Overall, a company that competes well with its peers.

Inconvénients

Cons: There are no pay raises. You’re never given any feedback on how valuable — or how lacking — your work actually is. Remote work is treated like a nightmare by management; they’re strongly against it, yet at the same time they’ll hire remote workers for the very same position. They have no clear, consistent standard on this. Certain people get inexplicably more recognition for demographic reasons. In one case, someone who skipped out on work at every opportunity and whose code didn’t run 90% of the time was promoted to a manager position purely because he was a smooth talker — and was even given the privilege of working remotely on top of it. Meanwhile, another employee who is the brain of the company and works like a bee wasn’t even promoted. They won’t grant remote work to staff who are 100% computer-based, and they won’t openly explain why. They lose genuinely valuable employees over exactly this. They run the place on a “work or leave” mentality. In reality, the perks valued employees are asking for are minimal — maybe just small raises, or more hybrid/remote flexibility. Showing the door to employees who earn you tens of thousands of dollars rather than granting that is simply not smart. The town is tiny, miserable, and there’s nothing to do. The nearest major city and airport are three hours away. It’s only worth working here for a couple of years for a better paycheck.
