      Avantages

      Smart, motivated, talented, passionate high caliber people. Decent work life balance (although that is rapidly deteriorating in my particular department). Multiple opportunities to work on very interesting things.

      Inconvénients

      eBay has some very poor quality people managers in the middle that can destroy morale. Promotions and recognition are not always handed out fairly. Turnover is very high (always has been) so there is no institutional memory. The culture can be very passive aggressive. Stock options are basically worthless.

      Avantages

      Good work, lots of AI experiments, AI innovation, latest tech stack, Co-workers are very co-operative and helpful. Most AI tools are still unlimited.

      Inconvénients

      Some teams are over-working due to smaller teams as a result of recent layoffs. Office perks (like catered food, snacks) are dwindling every quarter even though company wants every employee to be 3 days a week in office. Company wants 80 percent code to be generated by AI but no clear guideline how to achieve that.
