Avantages
Working with the clients is the best part of the job. Staff who stay do so because of them. However, they are neglected and live in some horrible conditions because they can’t keep staff due to the horribly toxic working environment
Inconvénients
The Executive Director is toxic and is a zero on the emotional intelligence scale. She leads by intimidation and creates a hostile, emotionally unsafe work place. So many wonderful staff have been lost due to how awful she is. The worst part is that neither she nor the board of directors realize how toxic she is. As a leader, it’s so important to know when it’s time to step aside.
