Avantages

Many projects are well thought through. Good discounts and the Premier Inn brand is amazing.

Inconvénients

The restaurant business is really struggling, it’s a tough market at the moment, whitbread restaurants just aren’t getting it right with their customers, poor quality steaks bad customer service and poor leadership in some sites. Meals are being heavily discounted with regular voucher drops which screams desperate, why would you pay pull price when you have had 40% off in the past?? Menu launches are not risky enough but the craziest thing is the business is heavily audited on finance/h&s but it doesn’t look at the losses made but it’s own management and team member on a daily basis. Coming from another restaurant chain I’m amazed with the culture of turning customers away. Blocking off tables, turning away walk-in customers both during evening and breakfast due to shortages of staff or an easier shift! The company does not monitor this, audit or check. With the sale of costa it’s now relying on Premier Inn for its growth and profit.

Avantages

Good elementary development, encouraging staff and motivational individuals, good company benefits and range of roles and skills to be trained in

Inconvénients

often shift work, inflexible working and holiday entitlement, low pay, from one extreme to the next between being underemployed and overly worked for the salary paid.
