Avantages

They'll hire you with very little experience, so it's a great place to learn.

Inconvénients

The pay is very low and our time is micromanaged. Heaven forbid you have a conversation while waiting for patients to arrive! They push performance-based incentives at the expense of morale, and employee feedback is not considered despite a growing negative sentiment among my coworkers.

Avantages

There are a variety of highly competent physicians associated with this group

Inconvénients

The best providers are ones that understand the efficiency and quality of the care within their clinic do not rely on the physician, but rather the staff. A staff that is well paid, well supported, and protected from the craziness of the business side is a staff that will thrive in a clinic. VIP, unfortunately, seems to have no awareness of this. The clinics they own may seem the same, but if you look under the facade you will realize that credentialed technicians are leaving in droves. Experienced clinicians cannot leave fast enough. Patient care has been utterly cheapened. If you are provider considering working with them, or even selling, stop. Stop, and ask yourself, do I want to see all of my patients receive lower quality care? Do I want to cut wages to the point we are only hiring untrained staffs, and have no ability to make a change for the better? Would I rather have someone more concerned about making sure staff doesn't accrue overtime pay than someone who would take a second to evaluate why there is a need? Would I rather increase patient waits 2-3 times what they were, because we are overbooked so an executive that never even speaks to a patient can make six figures while the support staff clocks out just in time to go to their second job? The amount of red flags with this company is endless.
