      Avantages

      TAing in the Statistics Department was great. The job was guaranteed for 4 years (9 months of the year) to support during Ph.D. program.

      Inconvénients

      The longer you stay a TA, the longer you have a low salary relative to the type of job you can get with a degree in Statistics or a related field.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
