Avantages
It’s an OK company in the building technologies industry, with lots of interesting products. Expect varied days, some days are challenging which gets the grey matter working.
Inconvénients
The main office is very sterile and lacks soul.
Most of the managers and employees have been working at Trend when its first established, which is good in some part as there is a fountain of knowledge, but there is a glass ceiling, so don’t expect to move up the career ladder anytime soon, and also managers lack ideas to move the company forward because of the lack of outside experience.
Some of the lifers do not share knowledge, and rely on the good old ‘knowledge is power’ scenario, so you have to find out the information yourself by using the tools available.
Some employees of Trend are friendly and acknowledge you when you say good morning, but most are very unfriendly and miserable.
Expect to be ignored when exchanging pleasantries while walking down the corridor or making a coffee in the kitchen, but don’t take this personally, being ignored seems to be the norm.
