Avantages
I worked at TransPerfect for about a year. I had no idea what I wanted to do, and I was exposed to a lot of different companies and industries. - You are given a lot of autonomy over your clients. - All of the places I interviewed at to escape TransPerfect were very impressed with my experiences.
Inconvénients
-Severely underpaid for the amount of hours you are expected to work. Very hard to be promoted and earn a decent salary. -Heard reports from younger female employees about being sexually harassed by management at the annual conference. -No work life balance. You are expected to be working around the clock - weekends, holidays, and after hours. Some few examples -My boss made be wake up at 5 am on a Saturday for a client project multiple times. Received an angry email from my boss to respond to a client who had a non urgent request at 10 pm on the Saturday after Christmas. - Even though you are expected be on the clock 24/7 don’t expect to be given a laptop or anything to help you.
