Avantages
There are some truly kind and brilliant (and underpaid and undervalued) staff at Thread. Thread's network is far-reaching. The future of Thread could be bright if major changes culturally and programmatically occur.
Inconvénients
Thread does not live its values and is resistant to change/accountability. Longterm upper management lacks both skill and tact. Please read the other reviews that perfectly capture some of the emotionally manipulative ways staff are treated. Leadership has created a culture of urgency, perfectionism, paternalism, and defensiveness; they believe they have a right to comfort in lieu of a transparent, evolving, and caring workplace. The programming itself isn't just or sustainable, nor does it center the voices of the students Thread seeks to serve.
