Avantages
There are a lot of different career opportunities available to employees. Managers allow you to try out new things that you are interested in if you have a good boss. THe concierge is a very nice benefit which can allow you to concentrate on other aspects of your life. There is a good culture of people at the company and it is a very informal atmosphere. A lot of employees are very passionate about what they are working on and work very hard to accomplish their goals. There is a great IT department for the sales organization which alleviates a lot of issues.
Inconvénients
To move up in the organization you really need to be located in Texas. If you aren't interested in this then you will probably not move very far in the organization. The company has been increasing costs for health care and other benefits just like other companies are. There is a lot of talk about talent retention, but i have seen a few instances where this does not apply to highly skilled people. The bottom line drives all decisions. Type A personalities are expected and weekends or after hours are a requriement if you want to go anywhere in teh company.
