Avantages

There are so many reasons why I fell in love with TaskUs but the number 1 must be the people that I work with from the highest positions to ordinary people, you will barely notice a culture hierarchy, everyone treats each other with respect and humbleness. All the benefits and salaries are just a bonus because the main reason why an employee will stay here for so long is the people around us, everyone is supporting each other and motivating to be better.

Inconvénients

So far I don't see any downsides working in TaskUs, if there will be some that I'll notice in the future, I do believe the pros will far outweigh the cons.

The never ending updates to everything. 1 day it's one way and the next day it's something completely different.

Avantages

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Inconvénients

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
