Avantages
Talon. One has built a world-class product trusted by some of the biggest brands on the planet, but what really sets it apart is the team. With a global workforce and HQ in Berlin, I’ve had the chance to spend time there and work with colleagues from around the world, which brings a fresh and genuinely enjoyable environment to work in.
What I appreciate most is the company’s straightforward, no-BS approach. It’s efficient, focused, and lean, without the fluff. If you perform well, you know you’re part of a trusted and well-run business. Even during tough macroeconomic conditions, I’ve always had confidence in the direction set by leadership to keep the business growing and profitable.
Christoph and Sebastian, the CEO and co-founder, stay very close to the day-to-day, always offering themselves as a helping hand. They're strong, accessible leaders who know how to run a modern tech company. On top of that, the compensation and benefits are competitive, and the work-life balance is solid.
Inconvénients
The only con I can mention is the difficulty of moving from an SDR role to an Account Executive role. With such an enterprise-grade product, the company is looking for experienced and highly strategic sellers to sell its product. There are, however, genuine paths to other internal roles like Account Management, SDR Team Lead, Customer Success, or Partnerships.
