      Avantages

      9/80 schedule Government funded R&D seems very steady Always opportunity to submit proposals for items you find interesting

      Inconvénients

      The transition from R&D to actual shipping product is difficult so some projects can drag on but everyone pulls together to get it done. Some crunch time but only within reason as loose ends are cleared up on projects.

      Government Contracts can be unreliable Small environment = individual(s) wears several hats
