Avantages

They are growing fast in a hot market - mental health.

Inconvénients

No work/life balance at a wellness company. Management style does not reflect the mission. Lots of burnout and turnover due to this. Management is well aware of the issues but presses on....Even people experienced with startups will be disappointed by the amount of work and disrespect for time off. Some of this does vary by team/level, but beware when there's a bunch of five star reviews all around the same time...

We appreciate your feedback, and we know this will help to identify areas of improvement for Spring Health. Through bi-annual engagement surveys, we hope we can uncover groups that share this misaligned experience in order to be very action oriented. We absolutely do value our employees’ lives outside of Spring Health, and time off is encouraged and should always be respected. As an organization we must take ownership for where we have fallen short, apologize and move forward with our shared learnings and improvements. Thank you for your willingness to share.

Avantages

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Inconvénients

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
