Avantages
As part of the first wave of graduates, there have been a few teething problems. However, SoftwareONE have created a great work environment - we graduates get along very well, the more experienced staff are more than happy to help us out (this is across all departments) and there are some fun goodies as well - table tennis, football table. All members of the senior management are approachable and easy to speak to. We even had a visit from the CEO in our first week who spent a few hours with us, which was a nice touch! Definite scope for fast career progression if you're willing to put the hard work in!
Inconvénients
As mentioned, there were a few issues initially in the program, mostly surrounding a lack of formal structure, but that has since been addressed. Some of the external training sessions have been "death by powerpoint", but feedback has been taken on and there are now exercises around the training (roleplays, presentations) to break up the powerpoints.
