Avantages

Unlimited PTO, and paid health care for employee

Inconvénients

The CEO is involved in the details of Sprint Planning with no dot Net coding experience. They cannot grasp the concept of points versus hours. How comfortable are you going to be in challenging the hours the CEO puts on one of your tasks? A high percentage of the business logic is in the database stored procedures. A big part of the backend application is in VB.NET. Both main applications are webforms apps. Also, the company has no real Cloud strategy. The tech stack is way out of date. The product side of the house is super weak. One-line requirements with little or no acceptance criteria. The team running the "product / strategy" side is truly ineffective. Most of the longtime employees have no idea how under paid they are because they have no exposure outside of SimplePart. I urge any current SimplePart employee to look at the market and make sure your being paid fairly.
